Shopify is looking for a UX Engineer to sit at the intersection of design and engineering, building the component systems and design tools that power Polaris, Shopify's design system.
- Build and maintain React components for the Polaris design system used by 10,000+ apps
- Partner with designers to translate design tokens into robust, accessible code
- Develop Figma plugins and design tooling for the design systems team
- Contribute accessibility improvements and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance across components
